According to the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh, the ready-made garment (RMG) sector recorded total exports of USD 7.50 billion during the July–August period of FY 2026–27. This reflects a 5.12% increase compared to USD 7.13 billion registered in the corresponding period of FY 2025–26.

On a year-on-year basis, Bangladesh's apparel exports experienced a 13.92% growth, rising from USD 3.17 billion in August 2025 to USD 3.61 billion in August 2026.

Within this period, exports in the Knitwear sector increased to USD 2.03 billion, representing a 14.88% growth compared to the corresponding year. Meanwhile, the Woven wear sector grew to USD 1.57 billion, marking a 12.70% increase year-over-year.
